The natural confluence and shared interest of DC and SF --especially in the run-up to the 2016 elections-- is creating high-paying, value-added jobs to rebuild the American middle class. In this respect, we are working on developing memos and talking points for a policy proposal that, we believe would, at-the-minimum, add an additional 1.7 million net new jobs over the next six years in the Bay area. Indeed, our analysis indicates that 1.7 million is only 1% of the global market for an emerging sector in Silicon Valley, slated to add between 140-170 million jobs worldwide, create a $19 trillion new market in six years, and replace 40% of the Fortune 500 as the trends replace companies that are unable or unwilling to adapt.
